Video Game Challenges are official Play! Pokémon Championship Series events where Trainers can compete against the local VGC community and earn Championship Points (CP) based on their final placement.

🎮 What You Need to Bring
- Your Nintendo Switch system
- Your compatible Pokémon game with your tournament team ready
- A completed Pokémon Video Game Team List
- Your Play! Pokémon Player ID
- Your Nintendo Switch charger
Team lists are required for this event. Players must ensure their team complies with the current official Play! Pokémon VGC Regulation and tournament rules.
Please arrive by 6:00 PM to allow enough time for check-in, Player ID verification, and team list submission.
⚔️ Tournament Format
This event will be played according to the current Play! Pokémon Video Game Championships Tournament Rules and the VGC Regulation in effect on the date of the tournament.
Players are responsible for ensuring that their game, Pokémon team, and submitted team list comply with all current Play! Pokémon eligibility and tournament requirements.
🏆 Championship Points
This is an official Play! Pokémon Video Game Challenge.
Eligible competitors can earn Championship Points (CP) based on their final placement, age division, attendance, and the current Play! Pokémon Championship Series rules.
Championship Points are awarded separately from the additional Springer Hobbies store credit and Prize Pack prizing below.
🎁 Prize Structure
$8 from every $10 entry will be added to the tournament prize pool as Springer Hobbies Store Credit.
💳 Store Credit
- 🥇 1st Place: 30% of total prize pool
- 🥈 2nd Place: 20% of total prize pool
- 🥉 3rd–4th Place: 12.5% each
- 🏅 5th–8th Place: 6.25% each
Store credit prize amounts are based on total event attendance.
🎁 Play! Pokémon Prize Packs
- All Participants: 1 Play! Pokémon Prize Pack
- 🥇 1st Place: +4 additional Prize Packs — 5 total
- 🥈 2nd Place: +3 additional Prize Packs — 4 total
- 🥉 3rd–4th Place: +2 additional Prize Packs — 3 total each
- 🏅 5th–8th Place: +1 additional Prize Pack — 2 total each
Play! Pokémon Prize Packs are subject to availability.

- Please arrive on time. Late arrival may affect tournament participation.
- No refunds will be issued after the event begins.
